Speaker Bio:   

Bora Yatagan has built a career spanning every aspect of aquatics, with a lifelong passion for pools that began in childhood as a competitive swimmer. He went on to coach swimming at the collegiate level through 2015, including serving on the coaching staff at the College of Charleston from 2010 to 2015.

After coaching, Bora became Aquatics Director for the City of North Charleston, where he oversaw operations across 11 aquatic facilities and developed extensive hands-on expertise in pool operations, safety, and management. Since 2021, he has been with Maritime Pools, partnering with residential and commercial clients throughout Charleston and the surrounding areas to support safe, efficient, and well-maintained aquatic facilities.
