While attending Bob Jones University, Tammy worked as a leasing agent on the weekends with United Dominion Trust. Property management quickly turned into both a passion and a career path. In 1998 Tammy moved to Charleston from Dallas and has been employed with Kiawah Island Resorts, Trammell Crow Residential, JMG Realty, Inc., The Beach Company and Pegasus Residential. Her experience includes on-site sales and management, marketing of Class A new construction apartments, along with lease ups, renovation and repositioning of all Class B, C, and D, vacation rental management, HOA management and maintenance. Tammy is a Licensed SC Property Manager, an active member of the Charleston Apartment Association, National Apartment Association, National Association of Realtors, and Institute of Real Estate Management. She has earned designations in both CAM and as a CPM® and is currently Regional Manager for Pegasus Residential. She sat on the Charleston Apartment Association Board in 2006 and received the Board Member of the Year Award that year. Tammy currently served as Treasurer for the Board of Directors for 2016 – 2017 and co-chaired the Membership Committee. Under her reign as co-chair, the Membership Committee brought in a record breaking 114 new members representing 11,006 new units. In 2016 NAA recognized the large membership growth by awarding the association for their exceptional growth. Tammy also volunteered her time on the CAA’s Race for the Cure team and as an Emcee for the 2017 CAA Diamond Awards. In addition, she regularly attends the National Apartment Association education conferences. She has an intense passion for the industry and was honored to be the 2018-2019 President of the CAA.
