Charleston Apartment Association Gives Back to Operation Home

The Charleston Apartment Association (CAA) was honored to give back to the community recently by supporting Operation Home. On June 13, 2019 members of the Charleston Apartment Association’s Next Gen committee volunteered to build a wheelchair ramp for a homeowner in North Charleston. The CAA and THS National spent a day assembling and building a ramp from the ground up.

Operation Home annually serves more than 450 families through critical home repair, wheelchair ramp and heat and cold relief programs. They focus their services on households with children, the disabled and seniors. Operation Home is committed to ensuring that no person has to live in a home that is inaccessible or unsafe.
