Lisa Pelloni
AdaLease Property Management
President

Lisa Pelloni began her career in property management in 1991 as a leasing consultant with Quarterdeck Apartments located in Charleston, SC.  She progressed through the company and later became the region trainer in the southeast for Merryland Investment Company.  In 1994, Lisa made the change to Darby Development Co., Inc. to become the Property Manager at Sawbranch Apartments as well as other properties for Darby Development Co., Inc.  Lisa became the Regional Property Manager for Churchill Forge Properties in 1997, managing 11 multifamily communities totaling 2152 units.  Currently Lisa is the President of AdaLease Property Management.  Lisa’s designations include a PMIC license, CAM designation and in 2000 she received a South Carolina Real Estate sales license.  Lisa has served the Charleston Apartment Association in many capacities over her career, including holding seats on the Board of Directors, Education Committee, Newsletter Committee and as Co-chairperson for the Operation Home Committee.  In 1999, 2002 and 2013 Lisa received an award for the Direct Member of the Year for the Charleston Apartment Association.  Lisa feels strongly about the association and feels as if its affiliation allows her to stay current with the area’s market and its trends.  She currently holds a Board of Directors Position.  She also sits on the Independent Rental Owners committee for the National Apartment Association.  Lisa is married with five children and actively participates in her hometown community.

 


Michael Silky
Bell Partners
Vice President

Michael has 15 years of property management experience ranging from tax credit to luxury apartments. Michael started out as a leasing consultant in 2000 on a tax credit community in Michigan. By 2002 he was promoted to property manager overseeing a lease-up of 144 units. Michael has worked on several successful lease-up communities as well as successfully transitioning troubled and distressed communities. Michael is a licensed South Carolina Broker and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.

The apartment association has been instrumental in my growth and knowledge of the Multifamily Industry.  I have a deep passion to give back my time and efforts to the organization that has given me so much. I would be honored to be associated with the Charleston Apartment Association and would welcome the position to make a difference! Thank you for considering me as a nominee for the Treasurer. I have served on the Charleston Apartment Association Board on and off since 2006 and served on other association boards including:  the Wilmington Apartment Association, Myrtle Beach Apartment Association, Cape Fear New Hanover County Home Builders Association.  Years in the Apartment Industry: 17 years in Publishing; 16 years in Property Management.  Other honors include:  Charleston Apartment Association-Board Member of the Year-2014; Charleston Apartment Association-Associate Member of the Year-2007; 2010; Wilmington Apartment Association-Associate Member of the Year-1996, 2000, 2003; Cape Fear Home Builders Association-Sales & Marketing-Associate of the Year; Apartment Finder Magazine-Rookie of the Year; Above & Beyond Award; Shining Star.

 


Christy Dukes
ACRS/FSI

Christy Dukes is the Vice President of Relocation & Sales for Furniture Services Inc (FSI) and Apartment & Corporate Relocation Services (ACRS).   She started out in property management after obtaining her property management license from Trident Technical College and began her career in this fabulous industry with HV McCoy Management.  After a few years in property management, she transitioned to the vendor side.  She has been with the company for 13 years.  Christy currently serves as the secretary for the Charleston Apartment Association.  She also chairs the Programs Committee.  Christy also started the Pink Pineapples team for the Race for The Cure – a race the association has participated in for 2 consecutive years now.  Christy is a big supporter of the CAA in many ways including donating time and sponsoring everything from T-shirts to awards for the annual Diamond Awards.



Wendy Tucker

Immediate Past President

Wendy is a Charleston native with over 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry with A+ to C, lease-up and stabilized assets, including suburban areas, urban in-fill, and mixed use developments.  Wendy's current portfolio covers approximately 11,000 units for owned and third party assets across seven states.  Wendy previously served in a Senior Regional Manager role for Greystar and oversaw all of the company’s owned assets in the Charleston area, as well as numerous other lease-up and stabilized communities for third-party clients.  During her career, Wendy has worked for some of the industry’s most highly regarded management companies, such as Summit Properties and Trammell Crow Residential.  Wendy is well known and has a highly respected reputation in the industry.  Wendy earned her NALP and CAM designations through the National Apartment Association’s Education Institute, and holds an Associate Degree in Business.  Wendy is very involved with the Charleston Apartment Association and has served in numerous capacities on the Board of Directors for the past ten years.  Currently, Wendy is in her second term as President for the Association.  In 2010, 2012 and again in 2013 and 2014, Wendy was recognized by her peers and other members of the Charleston Apartment Association as Regional Manager of the Year.  In November 2013, Wendy graduated from the National Apartment Association’s Leadership Lyceum program and in June 2014, she graduated from the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Lyceum.
