About Us

The Charleston Apartment Association pursues the professional advancement of the apartment industry throughout a tri-county area in Charleston, South Carolina. It seeks to improve the industry by offering its members an opportunity to grow both professionally and personally through educational opportunities, networking opportunities and charitable endeavors.

The CAA was organized in October of 1993 to promote the benefits of an affiliation with the National Apartment Association. It was chartered by the NAA on October 30, 1993. The CAA is also proudly affiliated with the South Carolina Apartment Association.

The CAA pursues the professional advancement of the apartment industry throughout the tri-county area in Charleston, South Carolina. It seeks to improve the industry by offering its members an opportunity to grow both professionally and personally through educational opportunities, legislative participation, networking opportunities and charitable endeavors. Over the past few years, Charleston Cares has proudly partnered with such local charitable organizations as the Lowcountry Food Bank and the Ronald McDonald House. The CAA is comprised of several diverse committees and a Board of Directors, which are highlighted in this website. It also offers local and national vendor members the opportunity to network, offer sponsorships, advertise, and participate on the Board of Directors and the various committees. The Associate (vendor) Members are an integral part of the success of the CAA.

The association meets eleven times per year. These gatherings include regularly scheduled dinner/business meetings with relevant local and national speakers; and Special Events such as the Annual Trade Show, Golf Tournament and Oyster Roast.
